A land of splendor and beauty
Iran is known as the “four season country”, its millenary history and culture ever so fascinating and genuine. The above not being a mere “slogan” but a proven fact that may well be confirmed by the experiences of a multitude of visitors, struck by the beauty and the wonderful attractions of this country. The rich and ancient testimonies of Iran’s culture and civilization, a variety of landscapes and climates, the numerous historic-archaeological sites, the diverse ethnic groups living together in this land for centuries – with their fascinating traditions and customs – have made Iran the treasure, the invaluable heritage of today.
It is possible in Iran, as mentioned above, to enjoy the most different climate varieties: cities where summer conditions occur in winters and areas where snow is preserved in summers, these offering the fresh and crisp weather typical of the high grounds.
Iran is a territory rich in history and culture and not only for the beauty of Pasargade, Persepolis, Chogha Zanbil, of the Naqsh-e Jahan square, for the ancient remains of Yazd and Shiraz; or of those preserved in Khuzenstan and in the art city of Isfahan.
A large part of Iran’s patrimony was recognized as UNESCO Human Heritage site. A patrimony referring to a millenary civilization accounting for thousands of treasures and historic, art and archaeological monuments that testimony the variety of cultures, religions and spiritual streams that made this land unique, the place where rituals and traditions retain to date their entire authenticity, their unchanged original magnificence.
We inherited from the past knowledge and science from eminent scientists, intellectuals and philosophers such as Hafez, Saadi Shirazi, Omar Khayyam, Ibn Khaldun, Farabi, Avicenna, Ferdowsi and Rumi.
Iran is also the land of souvenirs, with plenty of bazaars and traditional markets. Handicraft and handmade productions have developed over two hundred products that gained UNESCO’s official “Award of Excellence”.
Tourists may well appreciate on site the quality of the Iranian products and enjoy the traditional specialties of the Persian cuisine.
The varied climate, history, culture, souvenirs, uncontaminated mountains and deserts, valley and seas await for you in Iran. If you wish to experience a microcosm within a great country, come and visit Iran.
